He also battled at the Hiphop Summit at the El Rey Theater in 2005 judged by A-trak and the X-ecutioners. Later, he battled DJ Spider in a scratch battle on SiTV in 2006. Since then STUBBS has developed and expanded his deejay reach rocking parties all over Los Angeles and beyond including venues like Beatles Revolution at the Mirage in Las Vegas, The Vault 350 in Long Beach and Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim.
Since joining the LA based crew Almost Famous DJs created by DJ B-STANG and DJ EVER ED-E, a wide array of opportunities have been opened up to STUBBS to extend his reach. You can catch STUBBS in various clubs around the Los Angeles and Hollywood area where he has provided sounds for celebrities such as Marques Houston, Jordan Farmar and Justin Bieber. STUBBS has been a Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge Resident deejay since early 2009. STUBBS is also affiliated as a resident deejay for corporations such as GUESS? By Marciano and PUMA. In 2010, STUBBS has managed to become entrenched in the fabric of the music industry as he was presented with amazing potential prospects. Also expanding his technological reach, STUBBS is among a select few already ahead of the curve for the new technology of video deejaying, which has presented him with unique opportunities. Since DJ Cheapshot became on-tour DJ with New Kids on the Block, STUBBS was presented with the opportunity to become the official tour video deejay of the GET BUSY COMMITTEE featuring RYU, APATHY, and SCOOP DEVILLE. STUBBS also played for the SUNSET STRIP MUSIC FESTIVAL in August of 2010 on the World Renowned Sunset Strip along side acts including the SMASHING PUMPKINS, COMMON, SLASH, KID CUDI, and FERGIE in the City of West Hollywood at the legendary Roxy Theatre.

DJ CHEAPSHOT of SKAM ARTIST took STUBBS under his wing and became a mentor to him in early 2011. Aside from teaching him more about the craft of DJing itself, CHEAPSHOT has also shown STUBBS the importance of his business practices and philosophies.
FIRE POO was created by CHEAPSHOT, VICE and ERIC DLUX as a place for DJs gather and enjoy each other’s company in a non-club atmosphere. It is something that the DJ Community has needed for a long time. FIRE POO has grown to become a nation-wide phenomenon. Established DJs in the industry such as Grand Master Flash, Z-trip and Revolution have attended the event. During its incredible growth, CHEAPSHOT made STUBBS a partner of the movement. This has given STUBBS a better understanding of the industry and brought him closer to his peers in the DJ industry. CHEAPSHOT has also been a mentor to STUBBS as a music producer.

With a strong background from producing tracks of Styles of Beyond, Fort Minor and Linkin Park, CHEAPSHOT has taught STUBBS many important lessons about molding a track into a finished audio masterpiece. CHEAPSHOT continues to mentor STUBBS in more ways than one but there is still much learning to be done.
The future is looking very bright and there are many production and business endeavors on the horizon that for STUBBS.
